Chinese Class Through the Screen

Imagine being taught by a hologram. A projection of your teacher stands in front of the class–you can see and hear her teaching, but she is not really there. Students in Ms. Liu’s sixth period Chinese class have a similar experience. Their teacher is not in the Atholton classroom, but rather is live broadcasted to multiple Howard County schools from Reservoir High.

And the winner is… Holly Edsall. Holly Edsall is not the average high school girl slumming in the hallways wearing sweats. Her skills on and off the field separate her from many other students at the school.

Math Team Adds Another Win

Not everybody has to be an athlete to be on a team. Some of Atholton’s best team achievements have come from school sponsored clubs, like the Math Team. The math team has won second place in 2013, third in 2014 and 2015, and is aiming for gold in 2016.
